Hello there, Friend,
My name is Mary Beth, I’m a mom, wife, writer, coffee lover, and camping enthusiast. lol! Coffee over a camp fire… Mmmm! Yes, please! I would absolutely love for you to join me, this Summer, for something very special. Come warm yourself up ‘round the fire and let’s chat. Smores anyone? Are you feeling overwhelmed, over-extended, burnt out, or tired?
Need a mid-year reset? Let's work together. I have been working on a special project called Journal Camp, inside my membership, The Entry Journaling Club.
Journal Camp, designed, by me, is meant to help you slow down, reflect, find peace and process life, in community.
This offering was born from a place of deep need and healing. There was no manual guide going through our hard season, and there sure isn’t one coming out of it. So, I thought why not write some sort of field guide to help myself heal, with the thought that it could help others, too.
Over the last three years, our family walked through something that no one can prepare for in any kind of way. Our son’s cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Fast forward, today, our boy is healthy and well. A thriving, joyful teenager, again and yet… I’ve come to realize that I’ve been holding my breath through it all.
As my mind and heart began to heal, recently, I noticed that I may be dealing with some symptoms of PTSD. Always waiting for the other shoe to drop, at any moment. Anxiety running the show. Feeling my big emotions and lamenting over everything we went through. Completely astonished we'd made it out the other side, entact. Healing isn’t linear. It takes time. I know I'm not alone in these feelings. Hard stress can give us this scar and is something many of us experience after long or difficult seasons. I’ve come to find that working through hardships in community is the balm that heals deep wounds in a profoundly, loving way. Even staying quiet, being reserved, doing what feels comfortable. By just allowing your energy to be held in a group space, you heal.
June happens to be National PTSD Awareness Month, too. It felt right, more than right, actually necessary for me to take a little healing action. Taking time and creating is like medicine to my soul. I created Journal Camp to gently support the healing that I have been craving… and maybe the kind of healing you’re needing too.
🌞 Why Journal Camp?
Because summer is a sacred pause.
Because healing doesn’t need to be loud or performative.
Because a pen, a quiet moment, and a soft landing place can change everything.
Because we all deserve a space to rest, release, and reconnect with ourselves.
Journal Camp is here to offer that space.
It’s not about fixing or forcing.
It’s not another “productivity” challenge.
This is a gentle and supportive container for anyone walking through — or coming out of — a tender season.
Whether your journey has been loud or quiet, heavy or just a little too much, Journal Camp is a space to land. To write. To feel. To be with others who get it — even if they don’t know your full story.
🏕️ What’s Inside Journal Camp
Over the course of the summer, you’ll be invited into five guided journaling sessions — each lasting 14 days, with a fresh theme and a heart-centered focus.
Each two-week session includes:
✏️ Daily journal prompts — over 50 prompts total designed to open your heart, clear your mind, and support your healing
💌 A private “Journal Room” on Slack — where we check in, share gently, and offer encouragement (no pressure, always optional)
🎧 A private podcast every Friday — short, soulful audio reflections to deepen your experience and close each week with intention
🌿 A spacious and supportive rhythm — this is about presence, not perfection
